The Fragrance Materials Association supports, fosters and advocates for our members' business interests, assuring our members the opportunity to conduct commerce freely in the US and globally.

Safety

  • Promote the integrity and the safe manufacture, handling and use of fragrance materials and compounds
  • Require members to adhere to IFRA standards of safety
Advocacy
  • Anticipate and influence the development of fair and reasonable legislation domestically and internationally
  • Promote free and fair trade
  • Participate actively in the international standard setting process
  • Expand FMA participation in international activities with IFRA and with regional and national associations.
Communication
  • Enhance internal and external communication
  • Act as a spokesperson for FMA members on key issues
  • Promote the value of fragrance in everyday life
Industry Inclusiveness
  • Provide for the regulatory and safety needs of all members, regardless of size and location
  • Engage new members

  • Provide value for members through services and communication
