About the Speaker:
Ernie Rosenberg is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Soap and Detergent Association, The Home of the US Cleaning Products and Oleochemical Industriessm. SDA represents over 100 member companies including suppliers, the producers of the finished products and oleochemicals.

Prior to joining SDA in 1999, Ernie spent more than two decades in environmental health and safety management in corporate and governmental environmental management positions, including service as chief of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's new chemical review program and as Acting Deputy Director of the Chemical Control Division. He now chairs the International Product Policy Working Group of the U.S. Council for International Business (which represents US business to the OECD and UN) and recently was Head of Delegation for the International Chamber of Commerce in the negotiation s for the UN Environment Programme's Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management which was launched on February 6, 2006.

He serves on the boards of directors of the Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association, the Environmental Law Institute and the Alliance for Chemical Awareness.

Ernie has a J.D. degree from the New York University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York.

About the Bruell Award:
The Eric Bruell Distinguished Service Award was created in 1992 to honor individuals within the fragrance industry for a lifetime of enduring leadership, service, and support. This prestigious annual award will be given as part of the dinner program.
